Disney Vacation Club Members can now add on to their membership at the enhanced and expanded Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Today, we were able to take a tour of one of these beautiful new villas.
While we waited for our tour, we were invited to wait in the Enchanted Rose Lounge.
You can also try a Disney Vacation Club exclusive drink called the “DVC Elderflower Limonata.”
In the lounge, there are portraits showcasing each version of the new Villas — a Resort Studio, a One/Two Bedroom Villa, and a Three Bedroom Grand Villa.
We were then taken on our tour. Building 9 is the new Disney Vacation Club building, as seen above.
We were taken on a tour of one of the Resort Studios. These all-new Studios sleep up to five guests, with two queen-size beds and a day bed.
Here is the beverage center with a beverage cooler and coffee maker.
Enjoy luxe touches like quartz countertops, ornate crown molding and patterned tile.
There is a golden chandelier. And if you look closely, you can see glass birds sitting at the top.
There are subtle touches of Mary Poppins throughout the room.
Across from the two beds and above the couch is this beautiful artwork of Cherry Tree Lane, with Mary Poppins about to land with her umbrella.
The Resort Studios also feature a flat-screen TV.
There is also a gleaming bathroom with marble tile floors.
The are two sinks below a large mirror.
There is another piece of artwork hung on the wall — another subtle ode to Mary Poppins.
The bathroom also a combination tub/shower.

So I’m curious what others think. I was disappointed in the kitchenette, it’s weak and there are plenty of shelves to proceed the same plates, silverware and microwave as provided in other studios. It’s the Grand, and skimping on that stuff sucks.
Got to agree. no sink, No microwave, No toaster, Not utensils, etc. No walk in seperate shower. Loved the idea of adding the building but this was essentially a cheap conversion of the existing hotel room. I’ll stick with the “real” studios at VGF.
