Those who have paid a visit to the Magic Kingdom during the warmer months of the year should be familiar with Cool Ship and the adjacent Cool Scanner in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom. This kiosk, which sells drinks and snacks, has been closed for the past year as Magic Kingdom Park limits their food and beverage offerings. A few days ago we reported that construction walls have been erected around this spot. On our trip to Tomorrowland this morning we noticed an out-of-this-world repainting starting at the kiosk. Check out the images below:

The columns have started to be painted black from grey, contrasting well against the blue.

A fresh coat of bright blue paint has been applied to the kiosk.

The adjacent Cool Scanner provides an opportunity for guests to “cool” off from the hot Florida sun typically.

This repainting is part of an overall refurbishment of the Magic Kingdom in anticipation of the 50th anniversary in October.
