Free Face Masks Being Given Out at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park has officially reopened today after a lengthy refurbishment. One of the updated changes are these bins of complimentary face masks for guests.

Face masks are required at indoor locations at Walt Disney World. But if you forget a face mask at Typhoon Lagoon, you can grab a free one from one of these face mask bins pictured above.

  1. So they can do this at the water park but not actually enforce the requirement at WDW? Like tell someone with a broken one to go into an indoor queue and just make sure to get a new one before the next ride. Or have a boat on Its a Small World with a family of 4 with no masks on. Seat another family directly behind them and then leave the last 3 rows empty and the boat behind that empty. Makes sense…

  2. At this point, masks ain’t gonna help “slow the spread” or do anything for that matter. The omicron variant is rampant at this point, there is no stopping it, everyone will get it, which has been likened to a common cold/flu. Time to move on.
