Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges at Universal’s Islands of Adventure is now closed for a standard refurbishment. It will reopen on March 10, 2023.
Construction walls are up around the water ride, which closed as Jurassic Park River Adventure reopened.
Walls also block Wimpy’s.
We saw crew members in a cherry picker working on the roof of Wimpy’s.
Poop Deck Pappy’s Popcorn stand is still open.
The signs on the walls read “Set enhancement in progress.”
The ride closed around the same time last year for a standard refurbishment.
Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure is also currently closed for refurbishment.
