Good morning from Magic Kingdom! We’ve got a lot to cover around the park today, so let’s get started!
We hopped aboard the Resort Monorail where a large crane is at the old Spirit of Aloha site. The area has been mostly completely leveled.
Once inside the park, we made sure to wave to some of our favorite characters hanging out at the train station waving to everyone down below.
The Emporium has some new adult and kid’s Mickey Christmas snacks pajama onesies in the holiday section. We see Mickey peppermints, candy canes, Mickey Premium Bars, and gingerbread cookies. The kid’s version is $39.99 and the adult is $69.99.
The pajamas even have these very cute Mickey ears on the hood!
Princess Tiana’s wooden recipe card box is now available in the kitchenwares near some of her other merchandise and the mugs. The box is $29.99 and has some carvings such as lilies and salt & pepper shakers.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse are featured on these plush keychains near the pin wall. Mickey is on a red background and Minnie is on a blue background. Each keychain is $14.99.
Just across the way at Uptown Jewelers, there is a new Disney Parks Jewelry 2023 Year of the Rabbit necklace set featuring Thumper and some flowers against a red and gold background. The set is $49.99.
Crislu is hosting a weekend event at Uptown Jewelers from December 2nd-3rd so we got to see a few extra pieces that were in the case today like these very cute gold Mickey Mouse hoop earrings for $195.
This simple but stunning Mickey Mouse tennis bracelet is available for $125.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse are featured on these sterling platinum necklaces for $150 each.
As we made our way into the hub area, we noticed some much needed curb refurbishment taking place along Main Street. The cracked and crumbling curbs are getting replaced.
It’s PeopleMover time! We hopped aboard to get a better view of progress at TRON happening down below. The pathway appears to be getting more clear everyday as workers tidy up and complete projects along the surrounding area and attraction entrance.
Pavement has also been recently laid around the closed-off exterior of Tomorrowland Light and Power co. which is set to reopen later this month.
There’s a new Minnie Mouse polka dot lanyard at Star Traders for $12.99. The lanyard is red and white with Minnie Mouse and her classic signature.
Big Top Souvenirs has quite a selection today on MaDe Kiosks where you can customize MagicBands, Apple WatchBands, and more, like this EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays 2022 MagicBand and Apple Watch Band.
MARVEL holiday hot cocoa, “Seasons Grootings!”, snowman Thanos, and a few Spider-Mans decorating the Christmas Tree are on acrylic ornaments.
EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays 2022 ornaments have also made their way onto the kiosks. Sven and Olaf are seen going on some winter adventures together.
Christmas Mickey and Minnie Mouse and “Delivering Holiday Cheer” are more holiday acrylic ornament selections available. We’ve also seen these available as pre-made options at Frontier Trading Post.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is even getting some fun new animal print magnets. We spotted giraffe, leopard, and zebra print Mickey Mouse head magnets and a park name logo featuring a few other animal prints.
Along with the new Apple Watch Band and MagicBand, you can also take home more Festival of the Holidays magnets. These have Anna and Elsa also. You can never have too many magnets.
More MARVEL! “Wishing you a sweet holiday” gingerbread cookie, “Seasons Grootings”, “Yule be merry”, and Spider-Man decorating the Christmas tree magnets match the ornaments also on the kiosk.
Phew! That’s all on MaDe Kiosks today! These customizable options start at $29.99 each.
We popped by the other side of TRON where we have a better view of the trains that have been testing recently. Today, they were testing weighted and non-weighted trains with lights and audio about 30 seconds apart.
These very cute Dale and Minnie Mouse character Rubik’s cubes are available at Hundred Acre Goods in Fantasyland. There are quite a few characters you can collect including Mickey Mouse and Daisy Duck!
Sir Mickey’s has a new fluffy pink dress fit for a princess. This pink and burgundy Sleeping Beauty dress has elegant filigree and a Princess Aurora crown embroidered on the belt. The dress is $69.99.
Despite PhilarMagic refurbishment finishing some time ago, we noticed the banners outside of the attraction are currently missing.
Over at Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, the Toy Story Aliens are peeking out at us from their very cute toy box ornament. They talk and say “The clawwwww” when you push the button underneath. The ornament is $22.99.
Crowds were moderate today, it’s been fairly light crowds all week but today they definitely came out!
We popped back through the Emporium on our way out of the park. A retro-looking Walt Disney’s Dumbo circus tent mug in the kitchenwares section for $24.99. It even comes with a little tent topper cover.
There are a few new Disney Princess gift cards up by the registers. We previously found these some time ago on ShopDisney but it’s the first time we are seeing them in the park!
Snow White, Cinderella, and Princess Tiana are just a few of the princesses we found with magical scenes behind them. We love these!
We hopped the Monorail over to Disney’s Contemporary Resort where we found this awesome milk and cookies mug at BVG! One side holds your cookies and the other holds your milk. It has the same artwork as the resort’s gingerbread house ornament and pin. The mug is $24.99.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse are on these very cute gold oval Disney Parks Collection Jewelry earrings for $16.99.
We found more Rubik’s cubes! Donald and Mickey are on these cubes that we found at Fantasia.
It was time to hop on another Monorail, this time to EPCOT! We took a peek at the construction going on by the park’s Guest Relations area. It is still a mound of dirt.
Not much has happened over at Refreshment Station near Test Track since they removed the sign, although it looks like they may be getting the ground ready for some pavement along the left side of the structure.
Communicore Hall is seeing more foundation and steel work around its vicinity.
Scaffolding at some points of Journey of Water Inspired by Moana has been removed, including near the spiral where we can see the formation fully, how exciting!
