It’s hard to keep track of the pins available at Disney resorts. Disney has made it a bit easier to keep up with the pins by releasing images of its pin releases. Some pins are available at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Others are exclusive to either Florida or California.
Some pins have already been released, while others have yet to hit stores. New lanyards have also been introduced. Let’s take a look.
2021 Dated Walt Disney World and Disneyland Pins and Lanyards
The 2021 dated pins and lanyards will be available at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Pooh, Stitch, Jack Skellington, and Kermit the Frog pins will feature the park logo at each location. The Mickey and Friends lanyards also feature park-specific logos in their designs. Other highlights include Mickey and Friends mystery and booster sets, Mickey Mouse lanyard pouches for each U.S. resort, and Disney Cruise Line and Aulani pins. Rounding out the 2021 collection are the Mickey and Friends spinner pin and starter set.
Disneyland and Walt Disney World Holiday Gifting and Advent Release
The Holiday Gifting 2020 series features pins that come in boxes that can be hung from the Christmas tree. These limited release pins feature Marie, Ray, Dr. Facilier, Winnie the Pooh, Dante, Remy, Venellope, Cinderella, and Jack Skellington. An advent calendar includes 24 character pins, each including a ribbon to hang from a real tree. A folding display tree is also included.
Disneyland and Walt Disney World Anniversary Releases
Six feature film anniversaries are celebrated in this series:
- Tangled (10th Anniversary)
- The Emperor’s New Groove (20th Anniversary)
- Toy Story (25th Anniversary—do note that the pin sheet erroneously lists as 20th anniversary)
- The Rescuers Down Under (Celebrating 20 Years)
- The Aristocats (50th Anniversary)
- Fantasia (80th Anniversary)
We have already found Fantasia and The Rescuers Down Under pins at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Disneyland and Walt Disney World Open Edition Releases
The open edition releases are available at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Frozen II, Coco, and The Haunted Mansion are featured. A few of The Haunted Mansion pins have materialized at Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
