Tokyo Disney Resort has gradually rolled out a “retro attractions” line since last year featuring art and character designs reminiscent of the 1980s. We’ve already seen pins, phone cases, and a larger line of items in this line. Now, a stationery segment is on its way too! For those that don’t know, Japanese Guests love to buy things like notepads and pens as gifts for others or themselves, since hand-written letters are still a major form of communication in Japan. Let’s take a look at what’s coming soon once the parks reopen! Please note that since these are magazine scans, the resolutions may not be ideal for some smaller items.
Mini-Notebooks – ¥600
Pen Set – ¥2000
Colored Pens Set – ¥1800
Colored Marker Set – ¥2000
Sticky Notes – ¥800
Mechanical Pencils – ¥1000 Each
Pen Set – ¥1600
Pen Case – ¥1600
Case – ¥800
Sticky Note Set – ¥750
It’s interesting to see how they make newer attractions like Tower of Terror and Aquatopia feel retro, but this line really pulls it off! Since the parks are closed through at least mid-May, there’s no telling when this will be released. But it shouldn’t be too long after the parks reopen.

I appreciate that TDR does a lot of things right but sometimes their merchandise looks pretty cheap, even a notch below dollar store quality.
It’s really the opposite. My Disney stuff is easily marked, scratched, or broken. The Tokyo manufacturing is honestly so much better.
