Just in time for May the 4th celebrations, new illuminated lightsaber umbrellas have arrived at Walt Disney World Resort. These lightsaber umbrellas were first released at Disneyland Resort last month. Today we found them at Keystone Clothiers in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Light Side Lightsaber Umbrella – $69.99
There are two types of lightsaber umbrella — one for the light side and one for the dark side.
The light side umbrella resembles Anakin’s blue lightsaber. The handle is shaped like the lightsaber’s hilt, complete with red button.
The pole is the blade, which lights up.
The black umbrella reads “Use the Force” in blue on one panel.
Another panel is blue with a white version of the Rebel Alliance logo.
Dark Side Lightsaber Umbrella – $69.99
This Sith-inspired umbrella has a handle resembling Darth Vader’s lightsaber hilt.
A red panel showcases the Empire’s logo in black.
Another panel reads “Join the Dark Side” in red lettering.
The blade lights up red.
Will you be protecting yourself from the rain with one of these lightsaber umbrellas? Let us know in the comments!
May the 4th
May 4 is considered Star Wars Day because “May the 4th” sounds like “May the Force (be with you).” It’s celebrated annually by “Star Wars” fans and now Disney and Lucasfilm. At Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, it’s called Black Spire Day, honoring the founding of the Batuu outpost.
This year’s May the 4th collection was released on shopDisney in April and is now available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. New Black Spire Outpost tees were also released.
A new Dok-Ondar action figure will be available on shopDisney, too. A new Sith wayfinder and Cal Kestis lightsaber hilt were released at Dok-Ondar’s today. A light-up acid spitter orb sipper is available at Ronto Roasters and Docking Bay 7. New Legacy Lightsaber hilts will arrive at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge throughout the month of May.

Carrie Fisher will receive a posthumous star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame on Star Wars Day this year.
“Star Wars: Visions” volume 2 and “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” will premiere on Disney+ on May the 4th.
