PHOTOS: TRON Remains Behind Planters, Only Guests With Virtual Queue or Lightning Lane Allowed in Area at Magic Kingdom

TRON Lightcycle / Run soft opens this morning at 9 a.m. for guests who were able to obtain a Virtual Queue boarding group or Individual Lightning Lane access. Cast Members and a wall of planters are in place to keep guests out who don’t have a return time.

Cast Members in their TRON costumes are stationed outside the pathway. Directional signage for the “event check-in” show guests with Virtual Queue or Individual Lightning Lane where to go.

The blocked area extends from just outside the PeopleMover track to the corner of Tomorrowland Launch Depot.

The first batch of Virtual Queue boarding groups was gone in less than a minute this morning. Another batch will drop at 1:00 p.m. Individual Lightning Lane sold out in less than half an hour.

Cast Members are verifying return times before letting guests in the area.

Potted trees are in front of the gift shop’s doors. Disney has not announced a soft opening for Tomorrowland Launch Depot at this time.
