Walt Disney Imagineering has released a slew of exciting images for the newly refurbished rooms available in the Toy Story Hotel at Shanghai Disney Resort.

Buzz Lightyear Exploration Room

According to the official release, the Buzz Lightyear Exploration Room “is designed to look like a spaceship playset.”

The room features a vibrant color palette and an image of Buzz Lightyear flying over two beds. The nightstand is modeled to look like a Rubik’s Cube.

The carpeting has a star and planet pattern in the bold yellow and green hues, and a sliding block puzzle with a Little Green Man hangs on the wall. A green and blue table with two chairs outfits this room as well.

The wall mural depicts a spaceship control center. Even the light fixture hanging above the table fits the color palette for this room.

The closet mural depicts a spare Space Ranger uniform as well as hangers, slippers, and a luggage rack. There is also a shelf at the top of the closet for additional storage. The ceiling is a vibrant purple with “vents” on the back wall.

The Toy Box Suite

The Toy Box Suite is set up to accommodate up to five guests. While just as well-themed as the Buzz Lightyear Exploration Room, it has a slightly softer color palette featuring orange and pale blue as the main colors.

The illustrated cloud pattern originally featured in Andy’s room in “Toy Story” not only papers the wall, but is also featured as the design inspiration for the primary light fixture in this room. A dark blue couch with a Woody’s Roundup coffee table are both placed in front of a cleverly-themed television with a child’s bed hidden behind it.

The electronics cabinet is modeled to look like blocks, and spells out “TOY” on one side. There is also storage beneath the television.

A door leads to an adjoining room, showing off a Rubik’s cube nightstand and more of the “Toy Story” cloud wallpaper.

Several playing cards featuring Woody, Jesse, and Bullseye are on the back wall over the couch. Striped floor-to-ceiling curtains cover a large window.

The television cabinet doubles as a hidden bed! Stairs rise along the left-hand side and a child’s bed is behind the divider.

The room also features a height chart with both imperial and metric measurements along each side. A counter with hotel amenities, such as paper cups, can be seen just around the corner.
