Hey there, hi there, ho there! We headed down to the Disneyland Resort to see what all is new with the July 4th holiday weekend behind us. So join us for this most recent photo report from both parks.
Disneyland
It was a seriously beautiful day with a few clouds in the sky (before the afternoon sun burned them away).
Multiple submarines were testing at once as we inch closer to the reopening of Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage.
We got some cool pins today, with the Star Wars 45th anniversary collection pins and more.
We also found the most recent addition to the Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction line — a Mickey plush inspired by Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room.
And the last latecomer Loungefly bag from the previous MMMA collection, inspired by “it’s a small world.”
We enjoyed strolling Main Street, U.S.A. in the reduced crowds for several hours after opening.
In fact, at nearly 11 a.m., wait times were still very manageable.
Everyone must be back at work after taking the day off for the July 4th holiday yesterday. We were here last night too, to catch the special fireworks show in honor of the day. You can watch that full fireworks show on our YouTube channel, or by clicking on the video below:
We caught this pirate casing some of the shops in New Orleans Square, no doubt planning her next pillaging adventure.
Redd had her eye on these new Pirates of the Caribbean shirts and windbreaker we found in Pieces of Eight.
And she would probably also go after a new collection of Haunted Mansion apparel we found next door in Port Royal Curios and Curiosities.
Away on Batuu, some new Kyber crystal necklaces for both the dark side and the light have made their way into Dok-Ondar’s collection.
Disney California Adventure
Across the way in Avengers Campus, Spider-Man tipped us off that the Guardians of the Galaxy have brought a new collection of merchandise to the park.
Much of it is from the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction at EPCOT, as seen above. But some of the collection is also more general merchandise, applicable to any Marvel store, as seen below. Check out everything we found right here.
In the back of the Super Store featuring Avengers Campus, we spotted a new prop from the Disney+ show, “Ms. Marvel.”
This shiny sculpture depicts Kamala Khan’s favorite hero, Captain Marvel.
Doctor Strange bids us farewell as we prepare to depart the park.
Our final parting shot from the day is actually two shots. With the smaller crowd today, we had a brief moment where nobody was lined up against the guard rail taking photos, so we took this shot of all the Rusteze signs, in both directions.
Well, that’s it from us here at Disneyland. We’re glad you rode along. Be sure to leave a comment below, letting us know what you think of the photo report. We’ll see ya real soon!
