REVIEW: Are You Worthy? Trying the Mighty Thor’s Chocolate Hammer and the Baymax S’more at The Ganachery in Disney Springs

Guests know the Ganachery for its delicious desserts like Boozy Chocolate, so we went to check out what’s new at Disney Springs’ most interesting candy store. We discovered the Mighty Thor’s chocolate hammer and a Baymax S’more. We were worthy to wield (and purchase)!

The Mighty Thor’s Chocolate Hammer – $35

The milk chocolate hammer looks almost real with an interior glow cube and airbrushed exterior. Small cracks in the base let out a tiny glow for some magical realism.

The base of the hammer is completely hollow, like a chocolate bunny. The inside contains six dark chocolate pieces with bits of pop rocks within. Like sparks on the tongue! Very on brand for the Mighty Thor.

Guests will find the handle is solid chocolate and placed on a bed of candy rocks. The whole thing is crafted by skilled chocolatiers. If the Florida heat hadn’t melted the dessert, we may not have ever known it was chocolate!

Baymax S’more – $8.50

The Baymax S’more is made to order by Cast Members at the Ganachery. It is a graham cracker cookie with melted milk chocolate and a toasted marshmallow.

The Cast Member sprinkled our dessert with a touch of sea salt to expand the flavors of the chocolate and marshmallow. Speaking of which, the marshmallow is extremely melty. We made a bit of a mess, but it’s so, so good.

Powdered sugar coats the entire dessert. The S’more is topped with Baymax’s cute face in chocolate and a tiny red heart. This dish is a fantastic and adorable dessert for all members of the family.

Overall, the desserts were delicious and beautifully made, but overall not great for the Florida heat. We definitely want to come back and get these again if the weather cools down a little.
