The Darth Sidious legacy lightsaber hilt is now available at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Disney announced this hilt at Star Wars Celebration yesterday. This is the first legacy lightsaber hilt to be rechargeable.
Darth Sidious Legacy Lightsaber Hilt – $159.99
This hilt is mainly silver, with long oval depressions down the sides.
The sliding switch is within one of the depressions.
There is a bronze piece near the end.
There are green and red bumps on either side of the hilt, near the top.
The end cap is gold with a piece sticking out of the bottom.
The cap comes off, and this is where the port for charging connects.
The top of the hilt, where the blade is attached, has golden rings around it.
Guests must purchase a lightsaber blade separately. They are $25 for a 24″ blade or $50 each for a 31″ or 36″ blade.
The hilt comes in a black case.
The feather-like Sith Eternal logo is in silver on a red circle at the clasp of the case.
Disney also announced the Plo Koon and Qui-Gon Jinn legacy lightsaber hilts at Star Wars Celebration.

Mine broke right after flipping the switch for 10 minutes…. I didn’t notice my button came off after a cast member asked me where I got it. I immediately went back and they gave me a new saber hilt right away. I am still concerned because the switch is just “pressed on”compared to the other hilt switches to activate them. I have a feeling I will have to super glue it in the future if it comes off again. The finish is clean and the weight to it makes it feel nice. I believe that is because of the rechargeable function, which is also a plus.
