Guests visiting Disney’s Contemporary Resort can get an engravable ID tag in a brand new way, as a new machine for the collectibles has debuted.
The machine boasts a larger touchscreen that help simplifies the ordering process.
In addition to a touchscreen, buttons are below that also help navigate the process, between the cash and credit/debit card reader.
A transparent window allows guests to actually watch the engraving process.
Completed tags are deposited in the compartment below for retrieval.
Tapping the touchscreen or pushing the buttons will take guests to the next screen, which offers a variety of options.
Many of the 50th anniversary options are available, including this bone-shaped tag, perfect for a pet’s ID.
If the selection process takes too long, this screen featuring the White Rabbit appears asking if guests need more time, or want to start over.
Once you select a tag, the screen displays the dimensions of the tag.
When guests are ready to customize their tag, they can press the “Customize” option, which brings up this graphic featuring Mickey Mouse.
Several font options are available, and display how they will look on the tag.
Guests can customize up to three lines on their tag.
When you’re ready to engrave your tag, you can add it to your cart.
Canceling an order produces this graphic of Eeyore.
Each of the Fab Five characters appears on the selection screens decked out in their EARidescent outfits for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary.
If you need help, the question mark button below triggers this screen with guest assistance options.
The new machine can be found on the side of the hallway near Fantasia and The Game Station.
