Several strips of white canopy now cover a significant portion of TRON Lightcycle / Run in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom.
Work began on finally installing the canopy on the framework just a couple of weeks ago.
There are now five large strips of white canopy secured above the exterior coaster track.
There’s still plenty more framework to be covered.
The flat “vertebrae” pieces now cover the entire edge of the canopy framework on the Tomorrowland-facing side.
We don’t know when TRON Lightcycle / Run will open but here is concept art for the exterior of the attraction.
Guests will reach it by walking past the Space Mountain gift shop and behind Tomorrowland Speedway.

Am I seeing this right… looks like the stairs/escalators (in the concept art) have been replaced by a longer ramp (actual construction)?
I love Tron: Lightcycle Run at the Magic Kingdom and I can’t wait for next year to see the Grand Opening of Tron: Lightcycle Run!
