The exterior of Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is being refurbished, including repainting in some areas. Scaffolding is now up next to the towers of the resort.
A cherry-picker construction vehicle was also parked behind fencing next to the pool.
The scaffolding extends to the top of each tower.
The interior lobby of Yacht Club was refurbished in late 2020 into early 2021.
The exterior refurbishment is set to last until spring of this year.
The cherry-picker is likely being used to work on the resort’s roof, but we didn’t see any crew members when we visited on a rainy day.
The scaffolding may be for repainting the towers. We saw that some planks were a different color than others.

Crews were active today at Yacht Club. They have been painting the siding and one of the pool bridges most of the afternoon. Not to mention they are now sanding the wood floors in the lobby area. I can’t seem to find anything that mentions any of this work on their sites.
