Another figure honoring 50 years of Walt Disney World is now available at Bonjour Village Gifts in Magic Kingdom.

This Peg Leg Pete figure can be found alongside the 50th anniversary “it’s a small world” figure.

Peg Leg Pete Figure – $125

Peg Leg Pete the parrot (not to be confused with the cat from classic Mickey cartoons) used to greet guests at Pirates of the Caribbean in Magic Kingdom.

The animatronic may be gone from Pirates of the Caribbean, but guests can commemorate him with this recreation of the peg leg parrot.

  1. Now only if they’d bring back the actual animatronic! It was one of the unique charms of Magic Kingdom, and there was no reason to get rid of it (I’ve read that the people in charge of the parks were nostaglic Californians who wanted WDW to be more like Disneyland, so they got rid of the parrot cause Disneyland didn’t have it)
