During the process of refilling the flume on “it’s a small world” on Wednesday, November 10, flooding occurred and has affected machinery. As a result, the attraction will remain closed for now.
Disneyland officials said they have teams working around the clock to get the attraction open.
“it’s a small world” was closed to the public while it received its holiday overlay and was set to reopen today, Thursday, November 11, in time for the first Disney Merriest Nites event.
Disneyland has not provided a projected reopening date for the classic attraction. The holiday lighting ceremony will still take place each night and the façade will still be used for projections during “Believe in Holiday Magic.”
