PHOTOS, VIDEO: NEW Magic Kingdom Welcome Show Kicks Off 50th Anniversary Celebration

The Walt Disney World 50th anniversary celebrations are officially underway, and the Magic Kingdom kicked off the day with a festive welcome show.

Mickey and Minnie greeted the eager crowd in their EARidescent anniversary outfits.

They were soon joined by all their friends in their birthday best.

The welcome show featured the 50th anthem, “The Magic is Calling.”
