The net and railing surrounding the dock of the Seven Seas Marina at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has been upgraded.
Some of the changes can be seen outside the fishing excursions building.
Previously, there was only netting acting as a railing between vertical pylons.
There is now an entire wood railing structure wrapped in netting.
Most of the netting itself has also been replaced.
The new rope netting is obvious compared to the older white netting.
Updates can be seen along the entire walkway.
The lantern-topped pylons have some recently-patched holes in them that have yet to be smoothed and painted over.
This is where the old netting was previously attached.
The new railing structure sits directly on the dock, visibly a downgrade to what it replaced.
Guests catching a boat to the Magic Kingdom will notice the changes down the entire dock.
Some white netting remains around the ramp at the end of this dock.
It’s on the outside of the new railings, still connecting some pylons.

Back at the resort walkway, white netting remains around the sidewalk near Barefoot Pool Bar.
