Downtown Disney District is getting in on the Halloween festivities! Ballast Point Brewing Co. is offering a limited-time dish: the Victory at Sea Braised Short Ribs.

Victory at Sea Braised Short Rib – $29

This dish has a high price point, but it’s worth it. The short rib is fall-off-the-bone tender with great flavor.

The Victory at Sea glaze caramelized it and intensified the flavor. Pair this with a dark beer.

The texture of the meat was perfect, with a fat cap for those who like that. If you don’t, it’s easily picked off, but helps keep the meat tender and flavorful.

The corn grits were phenomenal. They were incredibly rich and cheesy, very likely the best grits we’ve had. The collard greens were the only thing that fell short, but only because the grits and meat were so good. The collard greens are littered with bacon, which makes it a bit salty. We would have rather just had a giant pile of the cheesy corn grits. We would absolutely get this again.
