The sign for the new Steakhouse 71, replacing The Wave… of American Flavors at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, has been installed. Steakhouse 71 is set to open on October 1 in time for the 50th anniversary of the resort.
The restaurant’s entrance is still behind construction walls and scrim.
New brass rectilinear chandeliers have been added outside the restaurant. They are of a similar mid-century style to the milk glass pendants in the elevator hall.
The Steakhouse 71 sign can be seen as the construction walls and scrim do not go all the way to the ceiling.
The sign features the previously revealed logo, with the 71 stylized as the iconic shape of the Contemporary.
