REVIEW: Confisco Grille Serves Up Disappointment With Wagyu Beef Burger for Passholder Appreciation Days at Universal’s Islands of Adventure

With Universal Orlando’s Annual Passholder Appreciation Days releasing new treats all over the resort, we were excited to see what Confisco Grille at Universal’s Islands of Adventure could do with this premium beef burger.

Unfortunately, they let us down with this one. We were really looking forward to this, as we’ve never had a bad meal here.

This wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t very good either.

The pork belly and red onion jam were delicious but didn’t help the dry burger patty.

There was no taste from the gruyere cheese, so each bite was just dry meat with the jam struggling to save it. It needs a sauce or extra cheese to add flavor.  For what is supposed to be a higher quality of beef, we were unimpressed.

If you’re looking to try something great, go for the ahi tuna nachos if you visit Confisco Grille. Better yet, go to Cowfish for the AP Roll or Finnegan’s for the Malloney Stack. This burger does not appreciate Passholders.
