Stacey Aswad, Host of “Must Do Disney” on Resort TV, Shares Farewell Message to Fans

Over the weekend we announced that the fan-favorite “Must Do Disney” TV program that appeared on resort televisions across the Walt Disney World Resort hotels was removed and replaced with an entirely new show. The extremely popular host of the former show, Stacey Aswad, mentioned our article along with a farewell message earlier today via Twitter.

Many fans were sadden by this news, as Stacey became a part of their Walt Disney World vacations for many years. Her contract with Disney was originally only set to 1 year, but ended up lasting a total of 15.

You will certainly be missed, Stacey!

  1. at first I was shocked they Disney would get rid of Stacy. She was so fun. The kid I took would always sit on the watch her while I finished getting ready. We watched together too. She made the experience that much for magical. Then it occurred to me Disney is trying hard to get rid of all the magic, families with younger children and increase prices. Walt is turning over in his grave. No surprise they got rid of a great host for an announcer with NO MAGIC. So sad.

  2. She will be missed. Always looked forward to Stacey’s smile and enthusiasm when we checked into WDW rooms. THANK YOU STACEY

Kind of like Stacey, we will not be using a WDW hotel for the 1st time in 20yrs. since we are now staying off property in October because pricing is out of control for WDW resort rooms.
