Two popular Magic Kingdom snacks have relocated to Westward Ho in Frontierland. We stopped by to see how these have held up over the years.
Jalapeño Poppers – $5.49
Breaded Jalapeño Peppers stuffed with Nacho Cheese served with Ranch Dressing
The temperature of these poppers is perfect. The breading on the outside also has a nice crunch to it.
The cheese is your typical Disney cheese that came from a packet. The jalapeños on the inside were soft, but still had a nice texture to them.
Without the ranch, there is zero seasoning aside from what the cheese sauce provides. Overall these poppers are a good-sized snack and we’d get them again, but they do lack a “wow” factor.
Candied Bacon Skewer With Chips – $9.99
This is more of a piece of pork belly than bacon, but that’s perfectly fine because it’s one of the best things we’ve had in years at Magic Kingdom.
The meat is a smoked bacon that’s very prevalent, and will stay with you for a while. The candy coating gives enough flavor and stickiness without overpowering the meat below. Overall, we would definitely get this again.
Will you be trying either of these food options on your next visit to Magic Kingdom? Let us know in the comments below.
