Happy birthday, Disneyland! Today is the resort’s 66th anniversary, and we’re celebrating with (what else?) a new cupcake. The cupcake is available for a limited time only at Jolly Holiday Bakery Café on Main Street, U.S.A, in Disneyland Park.

Double chocolate chip cupcake, cream cheese frosting, and filled with cookies and cream mousse

Legacy Passholders can use their discount on this treat. The cupcake is only available for a limited time, but when we asked the Cast Members how long it would be available, they did not know.

The chocolate medallion on top features art of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

The frosting is delicious, but as usual for Disneyland, there’s a little too much for our tastes.

The cookies and cream mousse is good, but we wish there were a little more. The chocolate cake itself is very rich, and more mousse would balance the flavors out better.

Aside from the frosting and decorations, this cupcake is exactly the same as the “Magic is Here” cupcake from the spring when Disneyland reopened. Overall, it’s a tasty treat, but it’s nothing new or special.
