Hallo, Ciao, or simply hello! Welcome to another gorgeous day at EPCOT! Come along with us as we uncover the many surprises that this beloved park has in store for us today. Let’s jump in!
Guests are now required to wear face coverings at all indoor locations throughout Walt Disney World. Just over a month ago, the choice to wear face coverings became optional for fully vaccinated guests enjoying the parks. We now see the return of this requirement, regardless of vaccination status. However, guests and cast members alike can still chose to remain face covering free in outdoor locations.
We see guests adhering to the new health and safety protocols this morning inside of The Land.
Take a sky high view of the ongoing construction all throughout the park!
Once on the ground, we decided to take a closer look at the upcoming Creations Shop and The Re-imagined Club Cool. These locations are both set to open this Summer, and construction is progressing rapidly to meet the slated debut. Creations Shop will take over the role that MouseGear currently fills inside of the park.
Construction has also amped up at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind recently. We can’t wait to blast off with some of our favorite galactic heroes on this upcoming attraction.
We found that Liquid Layer, which reopened not too long ago, was not providing a space to cool off from the hot Florida sun today. We hope to see the return of this play area very soon.
We were very happy to see Joy skipping alongside the Imagination! Pavilion this afternoon!
Traveling through the World Showcase we found even more unique health and safety protocol signage. Certain pavilions, such as Japan, had custom signs informing guests of the returned policies.
We stopped by to say hello to some of our favorite royal sisters, Anna and Elsa! This spunky pair of siblings have recently started greeting guests together in the Norway pavilion. Previously, you could only see them separately throughout the day.
Though Akershus Royal Banquet Hall may not currently be open, it has not been forgotten, as today we see the arrival of an all new sign outside of the European style restaurant. This new sign bears a crown with the writing “Restaurant Akershus” in beautiful script. It has replaced the previous one which stated the full name, “Akershus Royal Banquet Hall”, atop of it.
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival has officially begun! If you’re mouth is watering just thinking about it, then you might want to check out the full menus here.
That brings us to the end of our day! Thank you so much for following us around EPCOT! We hope you had a great time. What is your favorite dining experience within this park? There’s lots of great options, so make sure to share your absolute favorites in the comments below! We’ll “See ya real soon!”
if they thought the first round of mandated masks had irate customers, i can only imagine what this second round will bring. and really, can you blame those who got the vaccine for being irate? after all, they were promised something by all involved and now realize they were lied to.
