The EPCOT Monorail line has been closed for the past year and signage was even removed from the station in May. But it seems the line may finally reopen soon as Cast Members have been spotted training at the station in EPCOT.
We saw a group of Cast Members on the platform this morning.
The Cast Members were training before the park opened and left the station as guests were arriving.
Two of the Cast Members had “earning my ears” ribbons on their nametags.

It’s about time!!
When did the monorail costume shirts change again? Previously the shirts had 12 different ribbons/patches (one of each monorail color). Not it looks like they have a more generic monorail logo on both the left and right side of the front of the shirt. These don’t look bad, but aren’t as interesting or fancy (or as complicated) as the previous version.
Then again, I kind of expected a change since more monorails have various colored “deltas” on them and no longer match the design of the old shirts. So to be consistent, the shirts would have needed to be updated.
Plus, I am sure these are cheaper to make…
