Hello from a grey and stormy day here at EPCOT! We ventured out into the weather to see what new things we could find for you today, and we are glad that we did! Let’s get started.
On our way into the park, we spotted some Cast Members up on the Monorail station and coming down to the exit. Hopefully that means that this Monorail line will open soon. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
Once inside the park, we were excited to see that a few of the Points of Light on the underside of Spaceship Earth were illuminated, and were turning off and on. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
Both Main Entrance Restrooms, while having been recently refurbished, have had their color scheme changed, with the colorful accent walls and ceiling painted over for a clean, all-white look.
Moving into World Showcase, we found half of Plume et Palette in the France Pavilion closed off, with its windows covered in black fabric and a wooden wall built to separate the two rooms inside.
In the Morocco Pavilion, the Restrooms have finally reopened following a lengthy refurbishment. After seeing the improvements made to them, we think they were worth the wait. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
The “Fontana Di Nettuno” fountain in the Italy Pavilion was off today and mostly drained of water.
In the Norway Pavilion, progress has been made on the refurbishment of The Fjording, with the new flooring now making up two-thirds of the room.
A new entrance procedure, along with a new directional sign, is in place at the Mexico Pavilion Pyramid. Guests wishing to ride the attraction use the right-hand entrance and follow the blocked-off queue throughout the foyer and around the interior of the Pavilion. Guests wishing to dine or shop in the Pavilion use the left-hand entrance and bypass the majority of the line. Guests wishing only to visit La Cava del Tequila can use the dedicated entrance on the side of the pyramid, which uses an entrance normally reserved for Cast Members.
Today, we found seven new Limited Edition pins, including the latest installments of the “Magic In The Stars” and the “Magical Comics” series. For more pictures and information on all of these pins, check out our article here.
We also found two new Pandora charms at Mouse Gear. The first is a black and white polka dot ear headband charm, which retails for $65. The second is a rose gold “Partners” charm, which retails for $75.
We had a wonderful time at EPCOT, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
