Like much else in Fantasyland, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel is undergoing some refurbishments in advance of the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World. The vignettes from Cinderella are surrounded by gold leaf embellishments, which are currently being carefully restored.
Two of the refreshed vignettes are pictured above. The restored gold leaf is shiny and bright.
A few days ago, we shared this photo of the clocktower’s temporary replacement.
Now, the clock has struck midnight, and the vignette and its gold leaf have returned to their former glory.
As the 50th anniversary is traditionally the gold anniversary, this restoration fits right in with the rest of the changes occurring around the Magic Kingdom.
