Magic Kingdom
- The refurbishment of the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at Magic Kingdom has been extended once again, now through April 3rd, 2021
- Hello from an absolutely beautiful day here at the Magic Kingdom where we came to check out what’s new and what’s good, and we found so much that we compiled this photo report to show it all off
- As of Monday, the Mad Tea Party at the Magic Kingdom is closed for refurbishment
- We’ve been tracking the progress of the “EARidescent” transformation of Cinderella Castle, and as of today, the stage floor has been removed and the West side of the moat is now empty
EPCOT
- Yesterday evening, as we were heading home from Walt Disney World, we caught sight of some fireworks testing going on in the skies over EPCOT for the upcoming nighttime spectacular, Harmonious
- Though an opening date for Harmonious—EPCOT’s new nighttime spectacular—has not been announced, it seems that Disney is planning for it to be open in time for the 2021 Taste of EPCOT Food & Wine Festival as Disney is now selling corporate packages that include a private reception and viewing of Harmonious in October 2021
- Test Track at EPCOT is now boarding both rows of each car with no dividers between the rows
- Join us for our most recent photo report from EPCOT where it’s the second-to-last day of the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, so we’re making a point to check out a few of the outgoing festival elements, as well as the incoming pieces for the Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival
- With the end of Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts 2021, a new guidemap for the upcoming Taste of EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival has debuted
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Ranger, the four month old white rhino calf, and his mother, Kendi, joined the herd at Kilimanjaro Safaris today as the Vice President of Disney’s Animals, Science, and Environment, Dr. Mark Penning, announced on Instagram today
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- The new Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel will be a continuation of the story in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and will have themed, experiential transport shuttles to take guests directly to and from the hotel and Batuu, and now, thanks to bioreconstruct on Twitter, we have a look at how construction of the hotel is coming along and even a look at the shuttle stops
- New Cast Member costumes have been making their way across many Quick Service dining locations at Walt Disney World and today, Cast Members of The Roaring Fork at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge received their new themed aprons, complete with Humphrey the bear and leather detailing
Other Walt Disney World News
- Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort are pushing again for a state law change that would give beer companies more exposure and the parks potentially more revenue during the coronavirus pandemic recovery
Disneyland Resort
- The next phase of Disneyland Resort’s re-opening has just been announced — similar to the phased reopening here at Walt Disney World, the Disney Vacation Club section of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will be reopening on May 2nd
- Next month, Disney California Adventure will be hosting a special ticketed event with shopping and dining opportunities, plus entertainment and Disney has now announced that Legacy Passholders attending the event will have “access to a special opportunity”
- Recently on a trip to Disneyland Resort, we stopped at Salt & Straw in the Downtown Disney District to try a flavor from their Vault Series — Salted Caramel Cupcake Ice Cream
New Merchandise
- The latest Dooney & Bourke collection available at Walt Disney World features a whole host of Disney and Pixar characters in the Disney Skyliner’s colorful gondolas
- The beloved Orange Bird can now fly with you everywhere with this new shoulder plush, available now at Walt Disney World
- New additions to the Magical Comics, Artfully Evil, Windows of Main Street U.S.A., and Magic in the Stars pin collections have arrived at Walt Disney World
- In a video on their Instagram, Disney nuiMOs have teased a big reveal coming tomorrow — Miss Piggy and Kermit will join the line of dress-em-up plush
- Walt Disney Animation’s newest film Raya and the Last Dragon is coming to Disney+ Premier Access and theaters on March 5th and to celebrate the film, a new merchandise line has been released at World of Disney at Downtown Disney District
- You can now bring some of your favorite Disney characters to life with these new puppets at the Disneyland Resort, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Stitch, and Angel soft-plush puppets
- While shopping at Mouse Gear in EPCOT, we found one of the weirder pieces of apparel we’ve seen at Walt Disney World — lounge shorts patterned with Mickey-shaped avocados
- Three new mugs inspired by some of our favorite Disney animals have arrived at Walt Disney World, featuring the faces of Marie, the Cheshire Cat, and Stitch
