Rumors circulated that Disney’s Character Warehouse at Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets would be ready to open this Wednesday, September 9 along with Cast Connection. Unfortunately, preparations are not yet underway at the popular retail location, much to the disappointment of Disney fans in the area.
When we took a peek at the store to check if it was ready, we didn’t notice any markers for social distancing outside or inside the store. Also, no signage could be found that informs customers about social distancing procedures or Disney’s response to the pandemic in general.
Disney takes the current pandemic seriously, planning weeks and months in advance. In light of this, we think this is a sign that Character Warehouse isn’t going to be reopening soon. Additionally, we found no evidence of partitions being installed at registers or even stored on the property.
Without the social distancing markers, the partitions, and any form of signage informing or warning the customers of measures that the store is taking to keep guests safe, we can safely say that this store reopening won’t be happening for a few more weeks.
