If you’ve been looking to wet your whistle at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you may soon be in luck.
Preparations are underway to reopen Dawa Bar in the park’s Africa section, according to Brooke Geiger McDonald. Cast members were seen installing social distancing markers leading up to the lounge area, which also serves as the entrance to Tusker House.
At the bar itself, plexiglass windows have been added, much like at many of the counter-service restaurants we’ve seen around Walt Disney World. Bars were allowed to reopen in Florida at 50% capacity beginning on Monday, meaning that many of the resort’s bars and lounges could soon welcome guests back.
Soon, guests will be able to enjoy African beers and wines, as well as specialty cocktails like the Harambe Iced Tea, Ngumu Jungle Juice, and the Lost on Safari. This makes us thirsty for adventure!
