Though we don’t know when Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will open at EPCOT, construction is still coming along swiftly on the exterior of the France pavilion expansion.
We observed last time that some windows were still unfinished, and sure enough, shutters have been placed over them.
This street was previously clear of construction, but a vehicle is now parked about halfway down it.
An exterior door panel is open, exposing the inner works of one building.
A section of the sidewalk is roped off for an unknown reason. The fountain at the end of the street is not yet on.
The entrance to the attraction was previously surrounded by scaffolding and wrapped in plastic. It is now more open and visible to guests passing on the Disney Skyliner.
From this angle, we can see that the pink building next to the fountain has a “Patisserie” sign above the doorway. This courtyard looks almost finished.
It is unclear what the wooden structure through this archway is.
Some areas of the expansion still have dirt ground that will later be filled with grass, shrubbery, and trees.
Some electrical work remains to be done in the outside portion of the queue. Wires are hanging free and lights remain wrapped in plastic.
This area of the expansion is looking cleaner, perhaps even ready for guests.
Though we can continue to get a good view of the expansion and attraction’s exterior, we don’t know how far along the construction of the ride is inside the show building. There may still be several months before Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure opens to guests just because of the current climate at Walt Disney World, even if construction is nearly done.
If you can’t wait that long, you can watch the video Disney Parks Blog recently released about Ratatouille: The Adventure, the attraction’s counterpart in actual France.
LOVE your photo coverage and commentary on this new France expansion! Great work! Keep the pics coming.
