Earlier this month it was announced that Mulan would be released solely on Disney+ for an additional price of $29.99. If you have a Disney+ account, but still want to view Disney’s latest live-action film through other means, Disney will allow you to purchase the film through a number of third-party platforms, including Roku and Google.

According to Variety, Disney will collect transaction fees from the platforms. Roku will receive 20% of the film’s profits, while Apple and Google will reportedly walk away with 30%.
Disney announced during their earnings call in August, that Mulan would forgo the typical theatrical release due to the COVID-19 pandemic and instead be released solely through Disney+.
