We haven’t gotten a good look at the construction happening behind EPCOT’s France pavilion since mid-March. The expansion will include the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction, which was originally scheduled to open this summer, but that appears to no longer be the case. We got a good look at the state of the expansion when riding the Disney Skyliner today.

Most signs of construction have been cleaned up on the street leading to the attraction’s entrance. Pavement and lampposts are completed, and the trees have grown leaves, which is vital to provide shade. It’s starting to look like a real Paris street, with just a few orange cones here and there.

At the end of the street, you can barely see the courtyard fountain that Disney was working on just before the parks closed. This fountain mirrors one in front of the Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy attraction in Disneyland Paris.

Some scaffolding remains as work continues on building exteriors. It looks like there is still work to be done on the arched entrance of the attraction. To the right in the photo below you can see the Gusteau’s sign, which was unveiled in January.

Much of the backside of the pavilion is still visibly utilitarian, though we’re sure some of that will be cleaned up as construction nears completion.

While the attraction likely won’t open this summer as planned, it looks like it won’t be too long before we can visit Remy and friends. How excited are you for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure?
