We’re exploring Disney’s Animal Kingdom as the theme park reopened to the public today! We took a look inside Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures, located in DinoLand U.S.A, to see what social distancing measures they’ve put in place.
Chester & Hester’s is the biggest store in DinoLand U.S.A., housing dinosaur-themed apparel, toys, and memoribilia.
A sign above shopping baskets reminds guests about health and safety procedures. This includes wearing masks, keeping a distance of six feet, and frequently washing hands.
A sign atop the center display points guests to the checkout area.
Social distancing markers ensure guests will stay six feet apart while waiting to checkout. There is also a hand sanitizer dispenser near the door.
Only one of the registers at each checkout counter is operating. There are plexiglass windows in front of the operating registers to keep Cast Members safe. There is also hand sanitizer for the Cast Member’s visible behind the registers.
Other than the floor markers, plexiglass, and sanitizer, the store looks like it normally does.
