Howdy, partners! We are thrilled to be back at Disney’s Magic Kingdom during reopening previews and are continuing to share all health and safety precautions being taken in the wake of COVID-19. Next up, we are headed to Frontierland to experience the wildest ride in the wilderness: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Wait times have consistently remained short during cast member previews. Big Thunder Mountain is only a 10-minute wait.
Plexiglass barriers are located throughout the normally tight-packed queue to promote social distancing.
In additional to plexiglass walls, floor markers indicate where each party should stand in line with (all of which are 6 feet apart).
In this section of the queue right before guests arrive at the boarding station, guests normally split into two separate lines side-by-side. Social distancing markers are placed on the floor on both sides, however when we rode, one side was closed.
Cast members are spacing out parties as they load the ride vehicles.
Nobody was boarded in front of us!
Thanks for joining us on Big Thunder! Which ride would you like us to cover next? Let us know below!
Save Splash Mountain!
So stupid…smh
