Universal Orlando Resort

• Just before the parks reopened, Universal Orlando released this ‘Welcome Back’ video detailing new procedures and guidelines for guests to adhere to
• Earlier in the week, we got our first look at the new theme park arrival experience, with screening and social distancing measures in place
• New Annual Passholder perks have been revealed to start next week, including access to dedicated parking and security lines, freebies, and more
• New U-Rest Areas have been set up across the resort, these are dedicated spaces where guests are allowed to remove their face covering

Universal Studios Florida

• Characters have been making socially distant appearances throughout the park, some even wearing movie-relevant face masks
• Explore The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley with a look at its new social distancing precautions and ride procedures
• A limited-edition Annual Passholder button will be available next month in commemoration of the upcoming “The Bourne Stuntacular” show

Universal’s Islands of Adventure

• Lots of track elements have been installed for the upcoming Jurassic Park “Velocicoaster” ride
• A fun new Jurassic World Raptor Encounter experience allows guests to meet Blue and Baby Sierra

CityWalk

• CityWalk Food Court and Bob Marley: A Tribute to Freedom reopened this week, with new social distancing measures in place
• We reviewed the colorful Universal Studios Florida 30th Anniversary Neon Marquee Donut from Voodoo Doughnut
• We tried social distanced dining at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen
• Due to the Orange County 10 pm curfew, CityWalk will be closing at 8 pm nightly until further notice

Universal Orlando Hotels

Universal’s Endless Summer – Surfside Inn and Suites

Universal Studios Hollywood

• Universal Studios Hollywood has urged the Los Angeles county to allow the resort to reopen by mid-June and July 1st

• Universal Studios Japan will be soft opening on June 8th, before an official reopening on June 19th
• A video detailing enhanced safety guidelines for visitors has been released ahead of next week’s park soft opening

• A new line of Dueling Dragons merchandise has flown into the parks
• Stay safe with these new ‘Love is Universal’ and Universal Studios face masks
• The popular new Universal Studios Florida 30th Anniversary vintage attraction drink glasses are now back in stock

Other Universal Parks News
