Pizza Ponte, home of “the largest slice of pizza at Disney Springs” has reopened at the shopping and dining complex today, along with Morimoto Asia.
The quick-service restaurant reopened under Patina Restaurant Group’s new “Dine Safe” initiative, a comprehensive program in response to COVID-19.
A dedicated entrance and exit has been established, with the entrance to Maria & Enzo’s now being the exit to the pizza shop.
As you approach, there’s a QR code available for guests to scan and view the menu on their phones. As you’ll come to see, Pizza Ponte is now taking cashless payments only, and has displayed various signs warning guests.
Social distancing floor markers are set up six feet apart throughout the outdoor and indoor queue.
A large pump container of hand sanitizer is available for guests to use. Proudly displayed next to it is a CDC Certificate of Sanitization.
Floor markers remind guests to “Please Stay 6FT Apart”.
New plexiglass barriers have been installed higher up along the pizza ordering line. Overhead menus are still available to view.
Employees wear face masks and gloves as they plate the giant slices of pizza for guests.
A similar plexiglass barrier has also been installed at the register. Guests can only pay by card or via mobile wallet.
Tables are set up 6 feet apart throughout the dining room.
The gift store for Pizza Ponte, Maria & Enzo’s, and Enzo’s Hideaway is still open, however, guests are only encouraged to touch what they intend to purchase.
