At-home activities are crucial during this time of quarantine, and keeping kids busy can be difficult at times. Disneyland Paris’ environment team partnered with the start-up Wakatoon last spring to launch an interactive coloring game for guests that combines play and creativity with an environmentally-friendly message. Today, they bring you an at-home, digital version of the game! Families can color drawings of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, which can then be uploaded to the Wakatoon app to see the images come alive and reveal educational messages on how selective sorting works.
As cultural icons, Mickey and Minnie are perfect to represent such a positive message for kids! As an adult, I wouldn’t mind taking part in coloring, either. Anything that passes the time right now is welcomed. Let us know if you plan on downloading these interactive coloring pages!
Meanwhile, throughout April, Disneyland Paris shared updates on its continued commitment to environmental stewardship, which includes three key priorities to be an innovative and sustainable tourism destination – reducing environmental impact, enriching biodiversity, and inspiring guests and cast members to take action for the environment.
