With Cast Member previews underway and the grand opening of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway in just over a week, new FastPass+ and Stand-By entrance signs have been revealed outside of the Chinese Theatre in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
We’ve been keeping our eye on these new signs, especially after we realized they’d been redesigned just for the new attraction. Until now, they’ve lied dormant beneath protective plastic sheeting, but they’re out and ready to welcome the eager crowds of guests that will flock to the attraction.
A group of Cast Members posed happily with their preview passes outside of the entrance this morning.
The signs match the predominantly yellow and red coloring of the Chinese Theatre’s orientalist-style entrance facade.
Here’s a look at the FastPass+ entrance sign, which still retains the old clock from the Great Movie Ride.
Unlike the other latest new attraction at the park, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Runaway Railway will feature a Stand-By line.
The Stand-By entrance features a digital wait time display. It’s interesting to notice the new font used for both signs as well, also inspired by the general look and feel of the classic Chinese Theatre.
Are you looking forward to Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway? Will you be walking in with a FastPass or braving the Stand-By queue? Let us know in the comments!
I’d use the FastPass line, except I’m an Annual Passholder and our 30 day advance reservation can’t compete with the 60 day advance of guests staying at nearly every hotel in Orlando. I sure hope there is a Stand-by line, or I’ll never get to ride this ride!
Looks great! Excited for this one, still haven’t been able to try Rise of the resistance, that thing is ridiculous. At least this will have a stand by entrance.
Fast pass for March 6!!
