Bonjour, once again, from EPCOT’s France pavilion! It’s been a while since we checked on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and the expansion of the pavilion. Thanks to some Skyliner downtime, it’s been a little hard to go aerial for pictures.
Today, we hopped on the Skyliner and took a spin to see what has happened. Buckle up, because there’s been A LOT since our last update.
First of all, they have finished planting all of these beautiful trees along the walkway into the expansion.
The walkway area is prepped with framing and rebar and waiting for more concrete coming soon.
The frame for the extended queue of the attraction received a metal and glass topper, giving it an almost greenhouse-like appearance.
La Crêperie de Paris’ lower level roof is now fully covered with silver metal sheeting.
More brown scrim has been added to a building facade toward the back.
On top of the green portion of the ride building there is now a neat little row of Parisian buildings printed onto the wall. This will add another layer of texture and add to the illusion that guests are walking through the streets of a bustling Paris.
No real changes have come to the restroom exterior for the expansion area, so we can only assume they are hard at work on the inside.
It seems like there’s something new to see every time we take a peek into this new area. Stay tuned for the next big update with WDW News Today! We just can’t wait to see this beautiful addition glitter at night.
