If you’ve been wanting a Toy Story 4 Forky plush, there is no need to start looking in the trash just yet. We were more than delighted to find the brand new, redesigned Forky plushes have hit shelves at World of Disney in Disney Springs!
We spotted the happy face all the way across the store! Forky’s bright red arms were waving at us in the distance and we won’t deny we ran to him.
The redesign comes after the original Forky plush had been recalled due to safety issues. We were told the plastic googly eyes and arms had been falling off and could create a choking hazard. For the safety of everyone, Disney quietly removed them from the shelves before making a public recall.
The new Forky plush retails for $19.99, but you won’t find any googly eyes here. Instead, soft, flat eyes have been embroidered on to the toy. The arms also appear to be attached better. It even allows for easier poseing.
There were quite a few people grabbing up Forky plushes while we were there, so if you’ve been waiting for this day, you may want to hurry! Will you be getting this new Toy Story 4 Forky plush?
Do note that if you purchased the recalled original plush, Disney Parks asks that any guests who purchased the plush call 866-537-7649 or return the item to any North America Disney/Disney Parks store for a full refund.
