If you’ve been looking for a fun souvenir that also contributes to a good cause, you’re in luck! Guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom now have the opportunity to purchase special edition plush featuring Simba and Nala from The Lion King. Not only are they super cute, but a portion of the money goes to help the Wildlife Conservation Fund! This is a win-win situation.
We found these plush throughout Discovery Trading Company and in Mombasa Marketplace at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. (They’re also available on shopDisney. Just click the item links to shop!) They’re adorable, with fun patterned bodies. With each purchase, a portion goes to supporting The Lion King “Protect the Pride” Conservation Cause Campaign. Disney will donate $5 to the Wildlife Conservation Network for each lion plush sold and this money will go to support the Lion Recovery Fund.
Simba Special Edition Plush – $19.99
Simba is the main event in this bold blue and orange print. The details in the face, ears, and paws are yellow, and compliment the unique patterns on the body. “The Lion King” is written on one foot, too.
If you look closely, you can even spot beetles in the pattern. We really like the pattern on the Simba plush.
Nala Special Edition Plush – $19.99
The Nala plush has a warmer color scheme, mixing white, red, orange, and yellow in a fun geometric pattern on her body. The circle and diamond patterns go well together and “The Lion King” is written on her foot in blue. These plush sit up and display nicely, and the tails stand up unsupported.
These special edition Simba and Nala are adorable and have a more sophisticated look than your typical plush. They are special edition and help a good cause, so we’re definitely going to be picking these up. What do you think of these new Simba and Nala plush?
