The latest creamy creation to debut at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor is the Dulce de Leche Brownie sundae! Let’s dig in before it melts.
The sundae comes with a brownie base, topped with dulce de leche ice cream, hot fudge, Heath bar crumbles, whipped cream, and, of course, a cherry on top.
As a fun surprise, our sundae also came with a set of milk chocolate Mickey ears.
The brownie is slightly hard as it’s served cold, not warm. No worries, we need something refreshing in this heat.
The ice cream itself is really tasty. The flavor leans more towards a sweet cream taste, if you’ve ever gotten to try sweet cream ice cream. The dulce de leche gives it a richer, sweeter taste, like toasted sugar. It’s perfectly creamy, not too sweet, and definitely a nice departure from the usual vanilla or chocolate options.
The Heath bar pieces give it nice textural aspect, with the crunchy, chewy candy bar bits pairing nicely with the dense brownie and creamy, melty ice cream.
You may not see it in this angle, but there’s a ton of fudge tucked into there, which means this could practically pass as a molten lava cake.
All in all, this is a massive tower of baked brownie and ice cream that can easily feed two or three while being a unique offering in the Magic Kingdom. We highly recommend this treat if you’re out by the hub looking for a creamy, refreshing treat!
Looks so good. Is it a snack credit though?
