Star Wars Celebration is well underway with Rise of the Resistance ride vehicles out and about, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge panels planned, and much, much more in store over the course of the next four days. But first thing’s first, and that’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge merch. We’re getting a special preview of some of the merch that will be available at Resistance Supply and at First Order Cargo, two of the main merchandise shops in the land. Take a look and start making your lists for must-need merch once Galaxy’s Edge finally opens!
Both sides––and stores––are showcased side by side in this display. We love the flags and banners that will be displayed throughout the shop interiors. After all, both sides are recruiting.
First Order Cargo
First Order Cargo is a temporary storage dock located near the market. Easily identified by a never-before-seen First Order TIE echelon, it gives interstellar tourists a chance to pledge their loyalty to the First Order by purchasing caps, gear, model ships, pins, and more.
A number of pins, patches, and keychains are on display with mugs, canteens, wall hangings, and more. While the pins and patches are cool, it’s interesting to note that they did mention that “evergreen”, or basic generic products, would not be sold, yet here we are with some pretty… generic, run-of-the-mill theme park merch.
They also said they wouldn’t be selling small-scale replicas… yet here they are. (They’re still cool-looking, though.)
A variety of apparel, accessories, toys, and figurines are also available.
Although I tend to side with the rebels, this cowl-neck hoodie is pretty sweet.
Resistance Supply
First up is this display of pins, keychains, and patches. Those mission patches (similar to NASA patches) are pretty awesome. Resistance Supply is a “makeshift” resource location at the Resistance’s hidden command post, selling badges, hats, pins, and other accessories to help guests feel like part of the cause.
We’ve got similar merch available on the Resistance side, with small-scale ship collectibles, figures, and apparel all on display.
I’m somewhat relieved about the choice of apparel designs, to be honest. That Rey tee has the same quilted shoulder sleeves as her Resistance outfit. Color me impressed.
Make your home base the comfiest in the galaxy with this Resistance Throw. And don’t forget to pick up your Resistance MRE, or as we like to call it, the “6 Hour Wait Survival Kit”, packed with candies, crackers, and nuts to stave off your hunger.
But wait, there’s more! Even more merch is set to appear on display tomorrow, so we’ll have another update ready for you then!
Stay tuned for all the latest Star Wars Celebration announcements coming up this weekend, and big thanks to our friend Adam for all these amazing photos!
Looks really lame, and I am disappointed as a star wars fan.
