With the other three locations now open (Captain’s Quarters at the Magic Kingdom, Spotlight Lounge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Constellation Club at Epcot), work is finally commencing in earnest on the Disney’s Animal Kingdom location.
Located in the vicinity of Festival of the Lion King (somewhere to the left of it on an elevated piece of land), the Club will be found on the walkway between Africa and Pandora. The location will be perched upon this hill, overlooking Africa with sights of the Tree of Life offered from afar.
While permits have been filed to commence work on the “Safari-chic” private establishment, not much work is visible yet. In fact, all we found was this purple flag denoting the presence of a water line.
While nothing is visible yet, Disney is intending to have the Club 33 location at Disney’s Animal Kingdom open by year’s end.
