Amorette’s Patisserie is helping runners participating in this weekend’s Princess Half Marathon carb load in the classiest way possible: Princess Petit Cakes. While the patisserie makes delicious petit cakes on the regular, they’re making these princess-themed ones just for this weekend’s race. Let’s see what lovely delicacies they have for us.
In the back of the display, you can see the usual petit cakes that are offered. All petit cakes are $16.00 and serve anywhere from one to three depending on appetite. The three Princess Petit Cakes are themed after Jasmine, Belle, and Ariel. Despite differing exterior fondant decoration, they’re all the same flavor inside: Chocolate chiffon cake with raspberry mousse, dark chocolate mousse, and white chocolate crisp pearls.
Ariel Petit Cake – $16.00
Arguably the prettiest of the three, it features blue fondant with a golden tiara design flanked by seashells, seaweed, and pearls.
Ariel’s tail makes an appearance on top, and is that… a dinglehopper?
A closer look at the Jasmine and Belle cakes.
Belle Petit Cake – $16.00
The Belle cake features elements from her ballroom gown as well as an iridescent crown. On top, a rose and its fallen petals.
Jasmine Petit Cake – $16.00
The Jasmine cake is also gorgeous with its golden piping accents, royal purple fondant, and gold fondant magic lamp. On top, her sapphire crown contrasts against the teal fondant background. It’s almost too pretty to eat!
While expensive ($16 for a tiny cake), Amorette’s Patisserie serves up only high-quality, gourmet cakes. (A value resort food court cupcake this is not.) The sheer amount of detail and decorating that goes into each of these cakes says a lot, too. Regardless of whether you’re running or not, we say give these a try. Remember, these are only available through Sunday!
