We stopped by the Magic Kingdom recently. It was chilly, but the crowds were ready for a full day in the park. Everyone was bundled up.
Mary Poppins was out strolling around Main Street, U.S.A. She wasn’t stopping for meet and greets, but she was walking and talking with guests. The kids all seemed to enjoy walking hand in hand with Mary. It’s nice to see characters wandering around rather than the long lines for meet and greets.
Cold weather means warm beverages. There’s a “hot food” cart set up on Main Street. You can get a quick hot cocoa or coffee for $3.50. They’re even offering warm cinnamon sugar sticks for $6.50.
Guests are eagerly awaiting rope drop and choosing their path. Some will choose to start in Adventureland.
Most, it seems, will make their way over to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. It was 9:04 AM and the line was already wrapped around towards Ariel’s Grotto.
Even though the park gets busy early, some gift shops open later than the rest of the parks.
We took a little peek at the Tron construction. We’re eagerly awaiting more updates. Lots of activity can be seen just over the fence.
The water fountains by the castle were getting cleaned when we walked by. We definitely noticed the shine and appreciate the attention to detail.
Crystal Palace is offering the ability to purchase Mickey cakes on the spot. If you’re planning a celebratory meal there any time soon, you can order one of these for $35.
Thanks for visiting the Magic Kingdom with us!
Thanks Annie, looks like a miserable weather day at Disney.
To be fair, it’s been the most comfortable day I’ve ever spent at Animal Kingdom.
